Enjoy fresh air and a serene outdoor setting with top-ranked yoga instructor, Chuna Rai-Nelson, for a revitalizing one-hour Hatha yoga session for all levels. Applying slower-paced, gentle poses (asanas), conscious breathing (pranayama), and meditation, this refreshing session will stretch and align your body to build flexibility and balance, promote circulation, and clear your mind. You will leave feeling focused, restored, and energized for the day ahead. Award-winning yoga instructor and Director of Sanjibanu Yoga Sansar, Chuna Rai-Nelson has practiced yoga for over 30 years. She guides students of all levels, leading prenatal, childrens, seniors, and therapeutic yoga classes -- and she also trains and certifies yoga instructors. Born to a Nepalese family and raised in Hong Kong, Chuna studied yoga in Pune, India and also with Guru Hari Ashram in Florida. She is a registered yoga teacher, having earned the most highly credentialed level: E-RYT 500 certification. Chuna holds a masters degree in educational psychology from the University of Kathmandu in Nepal. Sound healing and meditation are her passions. For adults 18 and older. Beginners and all levels welcome. Plan to wear loose, layered clothing; bring water and mat; and do not forget to wear sunscreen. For those who are pregnant, please obtain approval from ob/gyn, physician, or mid-wife. Space is limited. No admittance 15 minutes after class begins.

Mission

Our purpose is to bring the full understanding and practice of yoga to people. To bring the ancient knowledge and practices of yoga from the remote area of the Himalayas. This is the full blending of the spiritual meditation with physical body poses and movements, using sound / chanting energy focusing, to increase the separate functions of the Mind, Body, & Spirit, but more importantly, tie these together for an enhanced life with a foundation of great understand and happiness.

The business is to provide ways for people to gain this knowledge and understanding through practice. This is done by one on one teaching, and teaching groups. To gain an interest through a basic introduction by means of DVDs, Books, Web sites, and other communications means. We shall also train our own yoga instructors and develop several yoga studios. Promotional tours and personal appearances shall be done.

The values are simple, provide first what is wanted & needed, while showing a glimpse of the power of yoga. From this shall bloom true interest. Second increase the level of teachings and practice while bestowing the commitment of seeking both individual and universal peace. Third, once they reach the top-level ability, add them to the staff.

The benefits from practicing yoga are: healthy weight, build and tone muscles, increases energy and happiness, improved flexibility and strength, balanced hormonal and endocrine systems, reduced stress, better mental focus, and more. I like to say that doing yoga lets you become the best possible you possible. Yoga teaches you how. We have started helping / teaching people with Autism.
